Job summary

IES Residential in Charlotte, NC seeks an Electrical Foreman to oversee electrical field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with codes and customer expectations.

The role requires 4–6 years of electrical field experience, leadership ability, and strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety practices. This is a on-site position with opportunities to impact multiple projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years of electrical field experience.
• Experience leading or supervising electrical crews preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• English speaking preferred; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews to support project schedules.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair work for accurate execution.
• Review plans and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with codes, policies, and safety standards.
• Monitor progress and address safety, quality or schedule issues.
• Coordinate with leadership, customers, subcontractors, vendors on activities and material needs.
• Provide direction and training to field personnel as needed.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
