Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Foreman Electrician in Savannah, GA leads a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You install, modify and repair electrical systems, read blueprints, and ensure NEC compliance on site.

You will mentor staff, develop schedules, prepare material lists, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals. Requires 7–10 years' experience and strong leadership, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Proven leadership abilities to guide teams of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of blueprints and project documents.
• Ability to read contract-related drawings and coordinate with other trades.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks and related project planning software.
• Ability to work weekends/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards and budgets.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Communicate production and budget needs to supervision.
• Adhere to local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conduits.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Layout work from drawings, including underground layout.
• Select wire, conduit, and box sizes.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
