Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a crew of roughly five electricians.
• Strong understanding of project drawings, specs and NEC compliance.
• Proven capability to read blueprints and communicate with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to high standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands and relay to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks with the crew.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics; layout work from drawings.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, install conduit and electrical devices as required.
