Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation in Texas seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee all field electrical operations for energy services projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence. You will lead electricians, apprentices, and laborers; plan daily activities; interpret blueprints; enforce OSHA regulations; and coordinate with project management to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; accredited electrical apprenticeship preferred.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification in relevant states.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role (Foreman or Lead Electrician).
• Demonstrated knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant industry standards.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with electrical construction.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews and mentor personnel.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily electrical work.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Enforce OSHA policies and conduct hazard assessments.
• Ensure quality control and address deficiencies.
• Track progress, labor hours, and material usage.
• Troubleshoot field electrical issues.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, clients, and other trades.
• Train and develop crew members.
• Maintain daily logs and project documentation.
• Participate in project planning and constructability reviews.
