Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks an experienced General Foreman for Power and Delivery projects to oversee field operations, manage crews, and ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of power distribution and transmission line work.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of overhead/underground distribution, and the ability to read blueprints and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years in power line construction with 3-5 years in supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of overhead/underground distribution and transmission.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• CDL Class A or B preferred with clean driving record.
• HS diploma; additional electrical training or certifications a plus.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field crew activities for power and delivery projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct safety briefings.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work to crews and optimize resources.
• Monitor progress and address issues to keep projects on track.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings for accurate execution.
• Procure materials, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Train and mentor crew members for safety and productivity.
• Perform quality checks to meet standards and specifications.
• Maintain daily logs and progress reports; document outcomes.
