Job summary

Amteck in Atlanta, GA is hiring an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project. The Foreman will supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman Electricians, oversee installation, alterations, and repairs, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

You will lead, train, and evaluate the crew, develop manpower schedules, read blueprints and schematics, and coordinate with other trades.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow in this area.
• Able to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Understands blueprints, schematics and contract documents for other trades on site.
• Communicates with other trades and supervisors; works to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Reads project schedules and contributes to on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets highest standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew and coordinate with supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands; relay to supervision.
• Assist in achieving production and budget goals; communicate needs to team.
• Work with trades to ensure work aligns with NEC and project specs.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit and electrical components.
• Read blueprints and project documents for proper layout and wiring.
