Job summary

Amteck is currently hiring an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The Foreman Electrician will supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, overseeing installation, alterations, and repairs while leading, training, mentoring, and evaluating the crew.

The role requires 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, the ability to lead a ~5-person team, skilled blueprint reading, NEC knowledge, and experience with BlueBeam and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Basic understanding of reading blueprints and contract-related documents from other trades on site.
• Knowledge of NEC guidelines and safety requirements on construction sites.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Meet production and budget goals by communicating tasks to the crew.
