Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. You will oversee a crew of Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, leading safety-focused, on-site electrical installation work.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordination with other trades, blueprint reading, and ensuring NEC compliance while mentoring team members and meeting project goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of five or more electricians.
• Understand blueprints, schematics and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards
• Develop manpower schedules for the team
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision
• Help achieve production and budget goals and communicate with the crew
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and conductors
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics
• Lay out work areas from drawings including underground layouts
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits
