Rosendin Electric in the United States is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid and cost-estimate development for electrical construction projects. You will collaborate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to produce accurate, competitive proposals and ensure timely submission.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 4+ years of estimating experience, and proficiency with Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam.

Formación

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations required for estimating.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group effort.
• Mentor and assist with the development of estimators.
• Identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete the estimate.
• Identify key parts of a project for competitive estimates.
• Review specs/drawings and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Evaluate value engineering opportunities.
• Lead personnel preparing discipline sub estimates.
• Maintain data to back up estimate figures.
• Develop labor productivity and unit costs based on site data.
