Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Engineering Leader for its Sustainability team in the United States.

The role focuses on leading efforts to enhance electrical system performance, safety, and reliability across facilities, with hands-on leadership and expertise in power systems studies and arc flash analysis. You will collaborate with facilities management, operations, and engineering teams to drive sustainable practices while maintaining operational excellence and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• PE license required or ability to obtain.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Engineering team focused on arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, protection coordination, and load flow studies.
• Develop electrical system models using SKM, PowerTools, ETAP, or EasyPower.
• Collect and interpret site-specific electrical data and update one-line diagrams.
• Prepare arc flash reports with energy calculations and PPE recommendations.
• Provide guidance on electrical safety compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with field technicians, safety personnel, and project managers for data collection and project execution.
• Travel occasionally to client sites for field data collection or support.
