M.C. Dean’s Sustainability team seeks an Electrical Engineer to enhance the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems across facilities.

You will apply arc flash, short-circuit, and load-flow studies, building models with SKM/ETAP/PowerTools and delivering compliant, data-driven guidance. The role collaborates with facilities, operations, and project teams to drive sustainable practices while maintaining safety and cost efficiency.

Formación

• 5+ years of work experience with a BS in Engineering; 3+ years with an MS in Engineering.
• Experience leading troubleshooting, commissioning, and testing projects in power systems.
• Experience in electrical engineering focused on existing buildings and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical power and distribution systems.
• Experience interpreting electrical drawings, utility coordination, and protective relaying schemes.

Responsabilidades

• Perform arc flash hazard analysis per IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E.
• Run short-circuit, coordination, and load-flow studies.
• Conduct power quality analyses to identify facility issues.
• Develop electrical system models using SKM, PowerTools, ETAP, or EasyPower.
