Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in the Columbus, OH area to lead project teams through design and construction of power facilities, including fossil, hydrogen, solar, nuclear, and energy storage. You will guide electrical design from concept to completion, coordinate with project managers, and review drawings and calculations across diverse projects.

The role requires ABET-accredited electrical engineering degrees, FE exam or PE license preferred, and 7+ years EPC

Qualifications

• Lead the electrical design for large projects and delegate tasks to teammates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Research and compile project data as required by project managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of projects from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings.
• Design electrical components per project needs defined by managers.
• Apply knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, standards and procedures.
