Job summary

LDIS LLC in Arvada, CO seeks an Electrical Engineer III to lead electrical design tasks for complex processing, petrochemical, and energy projects. You will develop one-line diagrams, perform power calculations, review vendor submittals, and mentor junior staff, working with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid in-office setting.

The role requires a ABET‑accredited degree, 7–10+ years of experience, knowledge of NEC/NFPA70E, and familiarity with ETAP or SKM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 7–10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA70E and switchgear layouts.
• PE license preferred in home state.
• Proficiency with ETAP/SKM and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a discipline engineering team on projects with some guidance.
• Electrical engineering and design review; develop standards and QC procedures.
• Serve as lead engineer on small to medium projects; plan and manage activities.
• Monitor schedule and budget; ensure task scope is understood.
• Perform power engineering tasks for processing and heavy industrial facilities.
• Review vendor submittals and develop wiring diagrams from vendor drawings.
