Job summary

Tetra Tech's LDIS LLC, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support E&I disciplines on oil and gas projects in Arvada, Colorado. This role focuses on construction drawings, deliverables, and mentoring junior designers.

The position requires 8+ years of electrical design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD 2022+, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ electrical design experience.
• Oil and Gas experience.
• Class I, Div 2 area design experience.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD 2022 or newer.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD 3D.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experienced with Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience with Autodesk Navisworks Freedom.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams.
• Capability to lead and work multiple projects simultaneously.
• Availability to work in office for first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design Lead for projects with multiple subordinate designers.
• Generate issued for construction deliverables such as line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and related drawings.
• Cable tray modeling, design, and BOM.
• Review vendor submittals and perform technical bid reviews.
• IFC deliverables checking and schedule maintenance.
• Mentor less experienced electrical designers and build cross-discipline relationships.
• Travel to client offices and facilities.
