Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a senior Lead Electrical Engineer to design and review power distribution equipment including Metal-Clad and Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and Panelboards.

You will create models, BOMs, and drawing packages for complex electrical projects and provide technical leadership across engineering teams. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in medium voltage switchgear design, along with leadership abilities and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in medium voltage switchgear design or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of control circuits and transfer/differential schemes.
• Ability to translate customer specifications into complete drawings and docs.
• Familiarity with ANSI, NEC and UL standards.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical packages for switchgear projects (one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs).
• Conduct technical reviews of projects and release BOMs for purchasing and fabrication.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and product development during design changes.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional teams.
• Interact with customers, project management, and other engineering disciplines.
