Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design and implement utility grade, industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical power systems.

The role involves leading electrical package design for switchgear projects, BOM release for purchasing, and supporting manufacturing with design changes. The candidate will mentor team members, work with mechanical engineering and project management, and ensure designs meet quality and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree is required.
• Experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
• US work authorization without sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical packages for switchgear projects (one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs).
• Conduct technical reviews of projects and release BOMs for purchasing and fabrication.
• Implement new product designs and design changes into production engineering systems.
• Provide support to product development for modeling and DFM (design for manufacturing).
• Mentor other engineers and interact with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, PM and customers.
