Edged Infrastructure seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer – Microgrids & Power Integration to lead end-to-end electrical integration, architecture, and lab bring-up for advanced microgrid projects. The role emphasizes system-level specifications, DFMEA/DVP&R, and collaboration with mechanical, firmware, software, and product teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive power electronics and microgrid experience, with hands-on lab skills and a strong understanding of safety and regulatory codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in EE or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on power electronics and microgrid experience.
• Experience driving products through formal development lifecycle: specs, DVP&Rs, DFMEAs.

Responsibilities

• Define system-level electrical requirements and specifications for microgrids and related equipment.
• Lead DFMEA and DVP&R execution across product lifecycles.
• Establish power distribution architecture, grounding, protection coordination, and interconnects.
• Provide supplier oversight and lead design reviews for third-party equipment and assets.
• Lead testing, verification, lab bring-up, and pre-compliance activities; support field troubleshooting.
• Represent EE in cross-functional teams and mentor peers.
