engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks an accomplished electrical engineer to lead FEED and conceptual design for microgrid and critical power projects in Houston.

You will define electrical scopes, criteria, and system architectures while coordinating decisions with suppliers and supporting construction and commissioning. The role requires a PE-licensed professional with strong MV/LV distribution expertise and extensive power system analysis experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of combined electrical and project engineering experience.
• PE license and AutoCAD skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Lead FEED and conceptual engineering for microgrid, distributed generation, and critical power projects, establishing electrical scopes, design criteria, and system architectures. Coordinate technical decisions and suppliers, support construction and commissioning, and mentor team members throughout project delivery.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and 15 or more years of combined electrical and project engineering experience. Candidates need strong medium- and low-voltage power distribution expertise, knowledge of applicable electrical standards, experience across project phases, and proficiency with power system analysis software; a PE license and AutoCAD skills are preferred.
