Job summary

LiveWire Construction LLC is seeking a Lead Engineer (PE) to drive electrical design across commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects. The role includes design-build leadership, EPC project execution, and coordination with estimating, operations, and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The candidate will mentor junior engineers, review engineering deliverables, and develop standards while adhering to NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NESC codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred) required.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
8+ years of electrical engineering experience in related environments.
Experience leading engineering efforts for design-build projects.
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NESC, and applicable electrical standards.
Experience reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and construction documents.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering and design activities for commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects.
Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) when required.
Provide technical oversight and quality control for engineering deliverables.
Establish and maintain engineering standards, design criteria, and best practices.
Collaborate with estimating, operations, project management, procurement, and field teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in engineering efficiency and constructability.
Lead engineering efforts for Design-Build and EPC projects from conceptual development through commissioning.
Mentor and develop junior engineers and interns.
