Job summary

LiveWire Construction LLC is seeking a Lead Engineer (PE) to spearhead electrical design across commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects. You will oversee design-build and EPC execution, mentor engineers, and ensure NEC/NFPA/IEEE/NESC compliance from concept through commissioning.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in electrical engineering, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with shop drawings, cost estimation support, and field coordination on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in commercial/industrial/renewable energy.
  • Experience leading design-build projects and EPC delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NESC and applicable electrical standards.
  • Experience reviewing shop drawings and construction documents.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and design activities for commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality control for engineering deliverables.
  • Establish engineering standards, criteria, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support preconstruction and estimating efforts.
  • Lead design-build and EPC project execution from conception to commissioning.
  • Support bidding, procurement, and vendor evaluations.
