Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in the United States with a PE license and 10+ years of post-PE experience to lead electrical design for large commercial projects. The role requires NEC expertise and the ability to mentor a team of electrical engineers and BIM/CAD technicians.

You will collaborate with clients, AHJs, and multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality across projects while supporting travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Ten years' post-PE experience.
• Experience designing large commercial projects.
• Working knowledge of NEC.
• Ability to lead a project for complex electrical designs.
• Experience in healthcare, higher education, and CEP electrical infra.
• Experience with MV protection and power distribution.
• Experience with parallel MV and below generator systems.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Detail oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with industry competitors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical engineering of projects per NEC and company standards.
• Assist PM with budgets, execution plans, estimates and schedules.
• Execute electrical engineering within budget, schedule and quality.
• Prepare study reports, drawings and specifications as required.
• Prepare addenda and PR/SI for projects.
• Mentor Electrical Engineers, Designers and BIM/CAD Technicians.
• Attend client meetings and document notes.
• Coordinate with project team, clients and AHJ.
• Coordinate design with other disciplines.
• Assist in QA reviews across disciplines.
• Attend site visits for surveys and condition records.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards, tools and procedures.
• Provide leadership for all electrical engineers and designers.
• Uphold ENFRA brand and client experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
