Job summary

Actalent in Ann Arbor, MI seeks an Electrical Distribution Lead Engineer to drive projects up to 34.5 kV from design through execution. You will mentor junior engineers, manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality, and lead multi-discipline teams for high-impact infrastructure projects.

You will work with clients to develop solutions, shape project strategy, and support business growth in advanced manufacturing, data centers, and other sectors, with hybrid work after onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical distribution engineering.
• Experience with overhead/underground distribution 4 kV–34.5 kV.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and quality across teams.
• Experience leading large production teams and taking project ownership.
• Strong knowledge of distribution design standards (NESC/NEC).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of distribution projects from design to completion.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables and calculations.
• Manage data and technical decisions for design choices.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across disciplines.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams and interface with clients and vendors.
