Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foreman for construction, maintenance and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems. The role involves working at various locations with potential travel to other states based on customer demands.

Essential duties include coaching crews, leading hot stick work on energized lines, pre-job briefings, and ensuring safety and compliance with procedures. Requires CDL, strong English communication, and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• CDL required; safe driving demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Coach crew members and mentor less skilled workers.
• Lead and teach hot stick work on energized lines.
• Perform pre-job or tailgate briefings.
• Oversee line work including stringing, pole setting, transformers and switchgear installation.
• Troubleshoot problems in primary and secondary systems.
• Identify voltages and understand grounding procedures.
• Plan safe work based on job prints or work orders.
• Coordinate line clearances and PPE usage.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
• Travel to different locations as demanded by customer needs.
