Job summary

Electra Grid Solutions is seeking a Distribution Foreman to lead crews building and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems. You will supervise Linemen, Apprentices, and Groundmen, ensure safety, and align field operations with project specs.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating material logistics, directing restoration during outages, and reporting job progress. Travel and extended hours may be required as part of delivering safe, reliable power.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in overhead distribution line work.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• First Aid, CPR, and Pole Top Rescue certifications required.
• Pass pre-employment, background, MVR, and DOT checks; DOT physical.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and utility safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Linemen, Apprentices, and Groundmen on distribution projects.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct pre-job briefings.
• Read construction drawings and coordinate materials and logistics.
• Lead setup of material handlers, digger trucks, and wire pulling.
• Direct restoration during outages and maintain job reports.
• Travel and work extended hours as needed.
