Job summary

Worley seeks a Transmission Line Design Engineer to provide engineering and design support for the Power Networks Transmission Line Design Group. Lead high-voltage design activities, ensuring accuracy, budget compliance, and on-time delivery.

Role requires extensive EHV line design experience, project leadership, and proficiency with PLS CADD and MS Office. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in transmission line design including EHV (345kV or higher).
• Experience in project leadership roles.
• Proficient use of PLS CADD and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of applicable local and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise transmission line design activities within budget and on schedule.
• Develop design guides and standards; provide procurement support.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers; conduct technical reviews.
• Prepare specifications, proposals and inputs to client scope documents.
• Coordinate with project management and other engineers; travel to job sites as required.
