Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Principal Transmission Line Designer to provide engineering and design support for the Power Networks Transmission Line Design Group in the United States.

The role requires extensive transmission line design experience (EHV 345 kV+), project leadership, and strong technical skills, with responsibilities spanning design, review, mentoring, procurement support, and client interaction.

Qualifications

• Extensive transmission line design experience including EHV (345kV+) system designs.
• Experience in project leadership roles.
• Strong technical and practical engineering skills with ability to deliver quality work on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design activities for transmission tasks within budget and schedule.
• Maintain and expand technical expertise; create design guides and standards.
• Review complex engineering work and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate and supervise engineers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Prepare specifications and provide procurement support.
• Contribute to proposals, estimates, and client presentations.
• Ensure QA of documents to Worley standards and procedures.
• Travel to job sites for site walkdowns as required.
