Air Products is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to support safe, compliant operations at the 24/7 Membrane Solutions site in St. Louis. You will partner with manufacturing and office teams, lead investigations, deliver training, analyze safety trends, and support BSP administration across a multi-shift operation.

The role emphasizes hands-on safety leadership, incident analysis, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with site leadership to reduce risk and foster a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience leading BSP and safety programs.
• Experience with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS programs (BSP, safety committees, training).
• Serve as site EHS expert for safety, compliance, and reporting.
• Manage safety data systems, dashboards, and monthly reports.
• Coordinate safety reviews and track action items.
• Lead investigations for incidents and near-misses with root-cause analysis.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks via audits, MSAs, and JSAs.
• Monitor high-risk activities and reinforce safe work practices.
• Develop and maintain EHS training programs for multi-shift operations.
• Ensure OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory submissions.
• Support SPCC, NPDES, and hazardous waste handling programs.
• Promote proactive safety culture and EHS ownership.
