Job summary

Air Products in the St. Louis area is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support safe, compliant operations at the Membrane Solutions facility.

You will work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance. You will monitor KPIs, maintain dashboards, analyze trends, and support audits, investigations, and training records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and incident reporting practices.
• Experience with EHS metrics, KPI reporting, data analysis, and dashboard development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong presence on the floor to promote safe work practices and EHS expectations.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections, and hazard identifications.
• Assist in incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Track and report EHS metrics and develop dashboards to support decision making.
• Support JSAs, risk assessments, audits, and training documentation maintenance.
• Coordinate training records and employee participation tracking.
• Collaborate with supervisors to address safety concerns and drive issues to resolution.
• Assist with implementation of site EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain records related to incidents, inspections, training, and compliance.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts and OSHA standards.
