Job summary

Air Products in St. Louis is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support safe operations at the Membrane Solutions facility. You will work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and site leadership to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

You will track EHS metrics, develop dashboards, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement, incident investigations, and corrective actions across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination may be considered.
• 1–3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections, and safety program administration.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard identification.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices on the manufacturing floor and reinforce EHS expectations.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Assist investigations including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Track and report EHS KPIs; develop dashboards and data analytics.
• Support JSAs, risk assessments, and training documentation.
• Maintain EHS training records and cooperate with site leadership on improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field

Associate degree or technical certification in related field

1–3 years EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial settings

OSHA regulations knowledge

Data analysis and KPI reporting

Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting

Audit, inspection, and safety program administration
