Highmark Health is seeking a Product Owner to lead an Agile scrum team focused on EHR Clinical Data Exchanges and integration. The role manages the product backlog, writes user stories, and collaborates with business stakeholders, clinical partners, and tech teams to translate complex interoperability requirements into actionable deliverables.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IS/IT
• 5+ years in process improvement
• 3+ years in project management
• 3+ years in health insurance industry
• 3+ years in healthcare industry

Responsibilities

• Product Ownership & Backlog Management: define vision, prioritize backlog, write user stories, lead sprint planning and reviews
• EHR & Clinical Data Exchange: drive integration capabilities across Epic, Athena Health, Veradigm eCC, Oracle Health and other platforms
• Healthcare Domain & Quality Standards: apply knowledge of HEDIS/Stars, CMS/ONC reimbursement, risk adjustment, utilization and care management
• Interoperability Standards: HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, CDA/CCD integration
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Executive Communication: gather requirements, prioritize, communicate with executives
• Technical & Architectural Familiarity: work with Data Engineers/Architects, understand Data Lakehouse concepts, DevOps/CI/CD, YAML, Cloud IaC
