Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an Agile Product Owner to serve as the liaison between business and IT, guiding product strategy and backlog management for a data-enabled platform. This role emphasizes collaboration with UI/UX and engineering to deliver compliant, value-driven capabilities.

The ideal candidate has IT-focused experience, strong requirements translation skills, and a proven ability to drive end-to-end product development in a hybrid in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three (3) years of IT experience or related.
• Experience transitioning requirements from business to IT and managing data acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes and determine ways to improve efficiency.
• Write documentation and create process flow diagrams.
• Understand/refine business problems with E2E architecture and engineering.
• Partner with UI/UX researcher to orchestrate meaningful demos of proposed resolutions.
• Take ownership of defining/managing tech/UI/UX debts within backlogs.
• Chair Product Customer Journey workshops and create workflows for data analytics solutions.
• Ensure Data Platform features comply with HITRUST & HIPAA.
• Manage user stories and acceptance criteria through Scrum teams.
• Define, measure and analyze metrics informing product success.
• Articulate business value of new capabilities via product demos.
• Prepare solid product definitions and artifacts for Scrum teams.
• Bridge between broader product and delivery teams with user personas and market context.
