Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an ALS Lab Manager in Washington, DC, to lead delivery of lab data processing services for complex eDiscovery projects. You will ensure productions meet ESI specifications, communicate with case attorneys, and coordinate a client-site team of eDiscovery professionals.

The role requires extensive Relativity experience, RCA or Analytics Specialist preferred, and at least eight years in eDiscovery with five in management.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in eDiscovery roles including processing of electronic files, data conversions, data culling, QA, and data analysis.
• Five+ years in a management/supervisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow.
• Working knowledge of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio or similar tools.
• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in computer science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of lab data processing services.
• Ensure timely and accurate task completion and adherence to ESI specifications.
• Consult with attorneys and support staff on best practices for ESI compliance; participate in teleconferences as needed.
• Provide detailed notices of deficiencies to case attorneys when productions do not meet specs.
• Keep clients informed about lab activities, deadlines, and resource availability.
• Manage webhosting support for cases managed by the lab.
• Supervise a team of eDiscovery professionals at the client site: scheduling, assessments, assignments, reports, and QC of deliverables.
• Advise on EDRM phases: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
