Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Sr. Teacher to lead the implementation of our curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child, creating a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.

You will coach less experienced teachers, partner with parents, and collaborate with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement across our nationwide centers. Join a team dedicated to high-quality early childhood education and family-focused care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of center-based ECE experience.
• State-specific supervision requirements in a classroom.
• 30 hours STARS course.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills; able to multi-task.
• Able to see/hear well to keep children safe; able to engage in physical activity.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to assume low postures to interact with children safely.
• English reading, writing, speaking to communicate with children and parents.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
