Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking a Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor fellow teachers while delivering KinderCare's curriculum to support each child's development. The role emphasizes a safe, nurturing classroom and strong parent partnerships to ensure high-quality care.

You will collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals and build relationships with families and community partners to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and organizational abilities.
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and working indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center’s success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
