Job summary

Swiss Re Windsor/Alpharetta is seeking an experienced Team Lead for E&S and Crisis Management Operations to drive service delivery, quality, and compliance within a growth-oriented portfolio. You will lead underwriting support teams, optimize processes, and partner with leadership to shape the operating model.

The role emphasizes talent development, cross-functional collaboration, and readiness for change, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance operations, underwriting support, or commercial insurance experience.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of E&S, Crisis Management, Commercial Property, Casualty, or Specialty operations.
• Strong understanding of policy administration processes, compliance, and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Underwriting Assistants and Operations professionals.
• Drive performance management, development planning, succession planning, and cross-training.
• Balance workloads and staffing strategies to meet evolving business needs.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues and capacity concerns.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of policy lifecycle activities and invoicing.
• Monitor and report on service levels, productivity, quality, and KPIs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Partner with E&S and Crisis Management Underwriters to support portfolio growth.
• Support technology implementation, automation initiatives, and change management.
• Contribute to future-state operating model development and capacity optimization.
