Job summary

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in the United States seeks a Team Lead for Energy & Construction Operations. You will lead a team of Underwriting Assistants and Operations staff, partnering with Underwriting leaders to deliver service excellence, governance, and continuous improvement.

This is a leadership role shaping culture and driving transformation across a complex specialty insurance portfolio. You will partner with brokers, underwriting, claims, compliance, finance, legal and technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance operations, underwriting support, or underwriting experience.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Energy, Construction, Specialty, or Commercial Insurance operations strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success leading change and process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Underwriting Assistants and Operations professionals.
• Oversee post-underwriting operations, including binders, endorsements, policy issuance, renewals, and invoicing.
• Monitor service levels, quality metrics, and operational KPIs to drive improvements.
• Partner with Underwriters and business leaders to support portfolio growth.
• Ensure audit readiness and maintain data quality and governance.
