Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Direct Support Professional IV, Lead/Charge DSP to oversee habilitation, rehabilitation and behavior plans for residents at the San Angelo SSLC. The role requires advanced care delivery, staff mentorship, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

The Lead DSP coordinates daily plans, ensures safety, trains new DSPs, and may perform Home Supervisor duties. Evening and night shifts are available; weekend hours may apply.

Formación

• One year experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).
• Experience implementing behavior programs or assisting people with intellectual disability with activities of daily living.
• Experience completing documentation or writing reports.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate habilitation and rehabilitation, behavior management, crisis intervention and treatments per individual goals.
• Supervise and mentor DSP staff, assign duties and ensure engagement per plans.
• Maintain daily documentation and progress reports; train new DSPs; act as Home Supervisor when needed.
