Job summary

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) IV, Lead/Charge DSP at Mexia State Supported Living Center coordinates habilitation and rehabilitation, behavior management and treatment programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will supervise staff, ensure daily documentation, and mentor new DSPs while maintaining safety and quality care.

Work schedules include Morning, Evening and Night shifts across multiple homes; telework is not offered.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Direct Support Professional.
• Experience implementing behavior programs for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Experience completing documentation or writing reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate habilitation, rehabilitation, behavior management and treatment programs.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new DSPs.
• Lead DSP staff and ensure safety and daily documentation.
• Assist with crisis intervention and emergency planning.
