Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall and general trades projects in Nashville, TN. You will drive budget development, schedule adherence, and risk management from project kickoff through closeout.

Responsibilities include supervising procurement, pay applications, and change orders while coordinating with owners, architects, vendors, and the EH&S team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of related experience performing as Project Manager for specialty scopes of work
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of interior construction systems and project contracts

Responsibilities

• Manage operational performance of Self-Perform Operations (SPO) projects from kick-off to close out
• Lead project startup including budget set up, Schedule of Values (SOV) establishment, and submittal submission
• Manage procurement and release of long lead materials to meet ROJ dates
• Lead weekly project production meetings with General Superintendent to improve production
• Identify change orders and collaborate with teams to obtain owner approvals
• Understand and administer contracts and subcontract agreements
• Collaborate with EH&S to implement safety protocols
• Oversee pay applications and coordinate with Finance on supplier invoices
• Support recruitment, hiring, and performance feedback for SPO Drywall teams
