Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Airfield Paving Engineer to lead DoD airfield pavement design efforts within the Transportation Business Group. You will design airfield pavements using PCASE and related tools, edit UFGS, perform QA/QC, and deliver technical reports for complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in airfield pavement design for DoD clients.
• Experience with DoD pavement design methods and software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HDR’s leading Subject Matter Expert in airfield pavement design for DoD clients.
• Design airfield pavements utilizing PCASE software, edit UFGS for airfield paving materials, perform QA/QC, prepare reports.
• Lead design teams from Planning Charrettes to Final Designs; coordinate with Project Manager.
• Grow HDR’s visibility and assist with Business Development goals; train staff and support field work.
