Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a senior airfield pavement design expert to lead DoD projects in the United States. You will design pavements using PCASE, edit specifications, perform QA/QC, and prepare technical reports.

You will guide design teams from planning to final designs and support field colleagues during construction. The ideal candidate holds a PE license, has 10+ years' experience with airfield pavement design, and can travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

10+ years of airfield pavement design experience for DoD clients.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience with airfield pavement design methods and manuals.
Strong leadership and ability to travel to CONUS/OCONUS.
Proficiency with PCASE, PAVER and related software.

Responsibilities

Serve as HDR's lead Subject Matter Expert in airfield pavement design for DoD clients.
Design airfield pavements using PCASE; edit UFGS; QA/QC; prepare reports.
Lead design teams from Planning Charrettes to Final Designs with PM.
Support Designer of Record during construction and troubleshoot issues.
Grow HDR visibility and contribute to Business Development; train staff.
