Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus four to six years docketing experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience managing a docketing team.
• Knowledge of court rules and procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the firm's litigation docketing activities.
• Oversee daily docketing operations and set performance expectations.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of all docketing information.
• Respond to questions from attorneys and staff regarding docketing nationwide.
• Audit docketing system for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and implement docketing procedures and best practices.
• Coordinate with internal and external experts to update standards.
• Stay updated on court rules and procedures and communicate changes to teams.
• Maintain relationships with technology and services vendors.
• Train and supervise docketing staff and provide guidance.
• Generate reports and provide updates on docketing activities and compliance.
• Drive large projects to completion with minimal direction.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Keep supervisor informed of issues and risks.
