• Meet job requirements of Distributed System Operator 1 and have related experience.
• Strong ability to analyze system data and make quick, safe switching decisions.
• Demonstrated capacity to respond to emergencies and manage stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies to maintain system integrity, reliability, and security of the distribution system.
• Gather and analyze system data to assess switching feasibility and verify safe operation.
• Direct and supervise all electrical switching, safety tags, and testing activities.
• Notify appropriate personnel during outages and emergencies to coordinate actions.
• Maintain system voltages and loadings within acceptable limits and keep supervisors informed.
• Maintain SCADA maps, switching routines, and records of events.
