Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced electrical distribution engineer to join our project team in a hybrid office/remote setting in the United States. The role focuses on leading engineers and designers to develop and review distribution designs from 4 kV through 38 kV.

You will prepare work packages, coordinate with clients, perform field checks as needed, and contribute to scope, cost estimates, and construction support while applying NESC, NEC, and IEEE standards.

Qualificações

• This position requires an Associate's degree in a design-related field, or a 4 year non-engineering degree.
• 6+ years of experience with electric utility distribution or relevant experience to review work by others.
• Knowledgeable in physical distribution design methods and their application.
• Familiarity with design codes and standards such as NESC, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, GIS/GWD.
• Experience with complex overhead and underground distribution projects (120/208V through 38kV).
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a project team.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare/Review construction sketches and work packages for distribution facilities (4 KV through 38 KV) and related tasks.
• Lead a project team of engineers and designers in a project environment.
• Support field work and project scoping as needed.
• Provide construction support and client communication as necessary.
