Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced engineer to lead distribution project teams in a hybrid role based in the United States. The position involves preparing construction sketches, reviewing work packages, and guiding engineers and designers in 4 kV–38 kV distribution projects.

The role requires strong communication, project leadership, and knowledge of relevant codes and software. Field work may be needed, with a focus on design, analysis, and client coordination.

Qualificações

• This position requires an Associate's degree in a design-related field, or a 4 year non-engineering degree.
• 6+ years of experience in electric utility distribution or related work to review others' work.
• Knowledgeable in physical distribution design methods and their application.
• Familiar with NESC, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, GIS/GWD codes and standards and distribution software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, PoleForeman).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review construction sketches and work packages for distribution facilities (4 kV to 38 kV).
• Lead project teams and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
• Perform field work when required for distribution projects.
• Support maintenance and recapitalization of distribution components.
• Plan modifications and oversee complex design tasks.
• Provide construction support and client communication as needed.
