Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Dispatcher/Controller to ensure the Dispatch team fills all routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. This role emphasizes safety and customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, at least 2–3 years of transit supervisory experience, and a proven ability to manage high-pressure situations. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee road service and trip performance measures, i.e. route start time, on-time performance, incidents.
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns about no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
  • Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls.
  • Supervise staff on weekends and evenings.
  • Manage department reports and other communication tools.
  • Support the OCC Supervisor in training new employees.
  • Other duties as required.

Lead Dispatcher/Controller

Transdev in P Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Lead Dispatcher/Controller. Our Lead Dispatcher/Controller ensures the Dispatch team fills all the routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:
  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $60,000 - maximum $62,000
Benefits include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
  • Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
