This role provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

The Lead DSP will empower individuals to live as independently as possible, while maintaining safety, comfort, and personal growth.

Lead Direct Support Professional- (Oxford) Waiver

• Full-time
• Compensation: up to USD 17.25 - hourly

Schedule: Full-time

• Sunday 7a-3p
• Monday 11am-7pm
• Tuesday 7am-3pm
• Thursday 7am-3pm

Need to be flexible and available to assist with shift coverage, all job duties of a group home Lead DSP

ALead Direct Support Professionalis responsible for the coordination of services to the individuals served, including finance, medical, recreation, program services, family contact/involvement, education, and household management. A Lead provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Assist with financials and documentation.
