Dungarvin is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (Residential Coordinator) to assist the Program Director in coordinating services for individuals served, manage household tasks, and support staff in daily operations. This role involves hands-on care, documentation, and teamwork within a residential program.

You will mentor staff, ensure safety and personal growth, and help with daily living activities while maintaining program consistency and effective communication across teams.

Job Description

What you get to do:

The Lead Direct Support Professional (Residential Coordinator) is responsible to assist the Program Director with the coordination of services to the individuals served, including finance, medical, recreation, program services, family contact/involvement, education, and household management. This position assists the Program Director in maintaining consistency in program implementation, individual care, and communication with staff and interdisciplinary team members, including the day or residential program. The lead direct support professional also carries out the duties of a direct support professional.

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
