Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional in a full-time role in Indiana. You will coordinate services for individuals served, provide direct support, and help with finance, medical, recreation, and household management while empowering people with disabilities to live as independently as possible with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Assist with financials and documentation.

Schedule: Full-time

• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday & Saturday 7am-11am (Can be flexible on start time for Friday and Saturday to get a total of 40 hours)

Wage: $16.25/hour

Job Description

What You Get to Do:

A Lead Direct Support Professional is responsible for the coordination of services to the individuals served, including finance, medical, recreation, program services, family contact/involvement, education, and household management. A Lead provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties

Qualifications

• Candidates must be comfortable driving company vehicles to transport persons served as required
