The Crest at Lakeville in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Lead Dining Server to lead the dining room and develop a team in a warm, community-focused setting. The role offers steady hours with a predictable schedule and a permanent year-round position, not seasonal.

You will train new staff, coordinate with kitchen operations, and ensure personalized service for residents, including special events and holiday meals, while upholding food safety standards and a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dining service experience (required).
• 1+ year in lead/server leadership (preferred).
• Experience in senior living, fine dining, banquets, or catering (a big plus).
• Experience serving special events (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the dining room during meal service, setting the tone for warm, attentive, and polished hospitality.
• Get to know residents’ preferences, dietary needs, and routines so every meal feels personal.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to keep service smooth and timely.
• Help plan and execute special events, holiday meals, and family gatherings.
• Train, mentor, and support new dining team members, and assist with scheduling.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards and help keep the department survey-ready.
